Surrounding Marshes
The “impervious” area is 3.1 acres but there is an additional area of 1.8 acres in buildings which should be included in the impervious calculations. This does not include the middle/front area which also has buildings and paved areas. This will have a tremendous impact on our environment. Both locally and to the neighboring wetlands/marshes. A larger locus should be used to examine the potential impact, as the site area is surrounded by wetlands and ecologically sensitive lands. Flooding will increase in neighboring areas. There will be detrimental impact to wildlife.
