Traffic study only examines Essex Road. The MASS Dot numbers on accidents do not include 2015 and 2016. There are no Local reports in the Executive Summary. Further the 2015 traffic study was done in June on a weekday. There was no Weekend study included in the summary.

Due to the area's increase of development and Special Events over the past 26 years (see below), traffic should be looked at for Heartbreak Road, Argilla, Northgate, Lakeman’s Lane and 1A. The increase in traffic has contributed to cut thru use on Heartbreak, Argilla and Lakeman’s. These windy and mostly under built roads already have issues and further development will only exacerbate the issue. Walking and Biking will become increasingly dangerous on these scenic roads as cut thru use increases.

Currently there are multiple entrances/exits on a busy corridor where it is very difficult to see traffic coming. Gordon’s, Bruni’s, Ruth's Way, Cable and multiple driveways. Adding two additional entrances/exits and 345 cars are accidents waiting to happen.
Ipswich monitored the eastbound Argilla Rd traffic in July of 2017 and found 22% traveled over the speed limit. The addition of 345 cars will impact the safety of this neighborhood.
